Welcome to the Astronomical Society of Victoria

The Society is based in Melbourne, Australia and includes city and country members, as well some in other states and overseas. It attracts people with a wide range of astronomical interests, ages, abilities and experience. Originally founded in 1922, it is the largest such organisation in the southern hemisphere.

Membership is open to all with an interest in astronomy.

The Astronomical Society of Victoria would like to say that In the spirit of reconciliation we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. Entry Cost: Adult - $15; Child (Under 16) - $5; You must book one ticket per person: BOOK TICKET

Lions Club (Food) & Local Wineries will be in attendance on the day

Camping is allowed on site in designated camping areas.

Join the Astronomical Society of Victoria and Shiraz Republic/Cornella Brewery for a night of Wine Under The Stars.
Enjoy a tour of the night sky as you sip on a glass of fine win or beer, soak in the views of the deep sky through ASV telescopes while you tuck into your pizza.
This limited event is a one of a kind journey into deep space and one not to be missed.

Location: Shiraz Republic/Cornella Brewery - 507 Hamblin Rd, Cornella VIC 3551
Cost: $85 Per person (Includes pizza & drink)
Food: Attendees can arrive and order anytime between 7:00pm & 8:00pm
